What we collect

Setpoint is a public website. We do not run a newsletter. We do not collect email addresses, names, or accounts. There is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to log into. Visiting setpoint.news leaves a standard server log entry (timestamp, IP, user-agent, requested path) retained by our hosting provider, Vercel, for operational purposes only.

What we don't collect

No email lists. No subscriber data. No third-party tracking pixels, no behavioral retargeting. We do not sell, share, or rent reader information, because we do not have any.

Sponsored content

Issues may include sponsored sections, always clearly labeled. Clicks on sponsored links are tracked via standard UTM parameters for aggregate reporting only, never tied to individual identity.

Analytics

Setpoint uses Vercel Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. Vercel Analytics is a cookie-free, privacy-respecting analytics product that does not identify individual visitors. If we add additional analytics later, we will update this policy.

Cookies

Setpoint sets no cookies. The site is fully readable with all browser privacy controls enabled.
